The Jarrettsville Branch Library is part of the Harford County Public Library, serving 2,677 residents in the City of Jarrettsville. The Harford County Library is a publicly funded and managed library system with 778,219 volumes and over 4.5 million items in annual circulation. Opened in May 2006, the Jarrettsville Branch is housed in a 14,000-square-foot facility, which is open for service from 10 AM Monday to Saturday. It provides a drive-thru book drop and pickup window. It houses books, music, DVDs, science kits, LEAP music kits, American girl dolls, action figures, and learning collections. Its technology offerings include public access computers, ADA workstations, print/copy/scan/fax machines, and self-service kiosks. It also provides a teen room and a public meeting room that can seat 150 persons.
