ImaginOn: The Joe and Joan Martin Center is part of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, serving 897,720 residents in the City of Charlotte. The Center is a 102,000-square-foot youth facility established by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and the Children's Theatre of Charlotte and is one of the top children's libraries in the US. It houses four classrooms, a multimedia production studio for teens, art theatres, an exhibit center, a space for under 11 kids, and many other facilities for patrons to explore. In addition to a wide range of collections, ImaginOn offers research help, storytime events, computers, free wireless internet access, and print/copy services.
