The Harrison County Library System serves over 194,000 residents in the cities of Gulfport, Biloxi, Pass Christian, and D'Iberville, Mississippi. The library maintains 308,700 volumes and circulates 605,105 items per year, including regular books, large prints, books on tape, videos, CDs, and DVDS. It also has a local history and genealogy department that holds small collections of genealogy, local history, yearbooks, and scrapbooks. The library provides public computers and desktops available at each location, copying/faxing services, computer classes, and events such as tai chi, baby & me, resume and job workshops, storytime, homeschool club, and crafts.
