The Hancock County Library System (HCLS) serves over 45,000 residents of Hancock County through its locations in Bay St. Louis, Diamondhead, Kiln, Pearlington, and Waveland, Mississippi. The library system maintains a collection of 111,310 volumes and circulates approximately 153,000 items per year. Across its branches, the system offers public computers, printing, copying, faxing, scanning, and notary public services as well as events including author virtual talks, storytime, GED classes, Spanish conversation classes, tax prep, crafts, and book clubs. Additionally, the HCLS Makerspace features a range of equipment and technologies for creative projects.
