The Florence Branch Library is a part of the Omaha Public Library and serves 485,153 residents in the City of Omaha. The Library System maintains 704,256 volumes and circulates over three million items per year, including kids' and teens' books, movies, music, and DVDs. Florence Branch Library was founded in 1923 and is open to the public from 9 AM Monday to Saturday. It is housed in a shared building with the Community Recreation Center on Bondesson Street. It has a computer lab with computers for public use, a teen space, meeting and study rooms, free WiFi, and office services like printing, scanning, copying, and faxing.
