The East Mountain Library is part of the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Library, serving the people in the Tijeras area of Bernalillo County. The Library System maintains 1.1 million volumes and circulates 3.9 million items per year, including print books, audiobooks, picturebooks, CDs, DVDs, genealogy, and special library collections. Located along Tijeras Canyon, the East Mountain Library has one meeting room, two study rooms, eight public computers with Microsoft Office 2019, and Wireless Internet access. It also offers printing/scanning/copying/faxing services and various programs like Family Storytime, Read to the Dogs, and Book Club.
