The Cedar Mill & Bethany Community Libraries serve over 80,800 residents of the city of Portland in Washington County, Oregon. The library was opened in the 1970s by the Cedar Mill Community Library Association and has since undergone renovations and expansion to include the Cedar Mill Library and Bethany Branch located in the Bethany Village Shopping Center. The library maintains a collection of 250,615 volumes and circulates approximately 2.9 million items per year. It offers meeting rooms, internet stations, WiFi, printing, faxing, and interlibrary loans. In addition, the library hosts regular storytime, babytime, English classes, citizenship classes, and numerous other events for kids, tweens, teens, and adults.
