The Brooklyn Park Community Library serves the people living in the city of Baltimore in Anne Arundel County. The library first started in a school and rented quarters and was renovated into a 12,500-square-foot building in 1971 with a Discovery Dock Children's area. It belongs to the Anne Arundel County Public Library, which maintains more than 800,000 volumes and circulates over 5.1 million items per year. Additionally, the library provides storytime, arts, and music programs for preschool children, computers for public use, and technology services such as printing and scanning.
