The Bartholomew County Public Library serves about 76,400 residents of the city of Columbus and Bartholomew County, Indiana. The library system comprises the Columbus, Hope, and Eastside branches, Bookmobile & BCPL Express that travel to several locations, and two satellite locations at GreenTree and Boys and Girls Club. A collection of more than 172,000 volumes is maintained in the library collections, with approximately 1 million items circulated annually. The library offers services such as meeting room reservations for non-profit use, public computers, WiFi, printing/copying, free scanning/faxing, notary public, homebound delivery, and test proctoring. It also offers various community events for all ages.
