The Siouxland Libraries is a merger of the Sioux Falls Public Library and the Minnehaha County Rural Public Library and serves about 218,000 residents of Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County in South Dakota. It was formed in 1995 and currently operates 13 library branches in Baltic, Brandon, Colton, Crooks, Garretson, Hartford, Humboldt, and Valley Springs as well as a bookmobile. The library maintains 305,780 volumes and circulates 2.5 million items per year, including books, magazines, CDs, movies, board games, and children's toys, with some books written in other languages like Spanish and Russian. Siouxland Libraries has meeting and study rooms and offers access to public computers, mobile printing, test proctoring services, programming for all ages, technology for beginners, and other library activities.
