The Main Library of the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library (KCKPL) serves 150,000 residents of Kansas City. The library system maintains 368,888 volumes and circulates roughly 1.1 million items per year. Located close to the Wyandot National Burying Ground in downtown Kansas, the Main Library houses the library system's Kansas collection, archival materials, and Connelley collections. It has meeting and study rooms, a computer lab with 25 public computers and laptops for checkout, including six for adults and four for children. Patrons of the library have access to technology services and various programs hosted by the library, including storytime, yoga, computer classes, citizenship classes, and adult adventures.
