The Hurricane Valley Branch Library serves 23,077 residents in the City of Hurricane and is part of the Washington County Library System. The library holds books, tapes, CDs, magazines, videos, and DVD collections, contributing to the Library System's 290,408 volumes and approximately 1.5 million in circulation each year. Hurricane Valley Branch Library includes a 200-capacity community room and an 8-person capacity study room. It has a Makerspace behind the Computer Lab which provides patrons access to 3D Printer, Vinyl and Paper Cutter, Sewing Machines, Serger Sewing Machine, Jewelry Making Tools, Crafts Tools, Virtual Reality (VR), and Embroidery Machine. Other programs available at the Hurricane Branch include Book Club, Storytime, Dungeons & Dragons Club, Teen Time, Creativebug, and LEGO Club.
