The Capitol View Branch Library is part of the DC Public Library and serves the residents of DC's East of the River community in Washington. The Library System maintains 1.3 million volumes and circulates roughly 4.8 million items per year. Capitol View Library has Meeting and Study rooms, Audio Loops, Pocketalkers, Computers, JAWS/ZoomText, WiFi, Mail-In Ballot Drop Box, and Printing/Scanning. It offers a Tax Preparation, Job Seekers Drop-in Clinic, Beyond the Book Club, Legal Clinic, and DC Jail Video Visitation programs.
